Ilya Kuznetzov - Kirov Ballet

Born in Samara, Ilya Kuznetzov graduated from Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Prof. Vladilen Semenov) and joined Mariinsky Theatre in 1995. He became Soloist in 1997.

His repertoire includes Giselle as Albert and Hilarion, Le Corsaire as Conrad, Swan Lake as Rothbart and Prince Siegfried, The Fountain of Bakhchisaray as Vaslav, Don Quixote as Espada, Sheherazade as Golden Slave, Serenade, Symphony in C (2nd movement), Roland Petit`s Carmen as Don Jose, Romeo and Juliet as Romeo, In The Night (3rd movement), Le Jeune Homme et La Mort, Poeme de l`Extase, Jewels (Diamonds), Manon as Des Grieux, The Legend of Love as Visir, The Nutcracker by Chemiakin as Nutcracker-prince, Now and Then by Neumeier, The Sounds of Empty Pages by Neumeier, and Young Lady and Hooligan as Hooligan
