BalletMet and ballet tech ohio’s 3rd annual Gala of International Ballet Stars will showcase the best dancers from the best companies with the best choreography in the world. The audience will experience the thrill of exciting major international entertainment venues of New York, Boston, Amsterdam, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Moscow, London, San Francisco, Houston, Columbus and Toronto.

Experience the electrifying choreography of world renowned choreographers John Cranko, Alonzo King, William Forsythe, James Kudelka, new choreographers Krzyxztof Pastor and Derek Deanrs, and the great Petipa and Vaganova, who defined classical dance.

Dancers who will perform in this year’s Gala include

  • Gennadi Saveliev, soloist, American Ballet Theatre
  • Sarah Lamb, Boston Ballet
  • Larissa Lezhnina, Dutch National Ballet and her partner, Viacheslav Samodurov, Royal Ballet, both formerly of the Kirov
  • Chiharu Shibata and Prince Credell, dance greats from Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet
  • Aleksandar Antonijevic and Sonia Rodriguez, National Ballet of Canada
  • Bridget Breiner, Stuttgart Ballet, and partner Christopher Roman, Ballet Frankfurt
  • Donald Williams and Kellye Saunders, Dance Theatre of Harlem
  • Houston Ballet and BalletMet Columbus principal dancers will be featured in both performances.
