ballet tech cincinnati performed the world premiere of “Dance of the Toys” at the Holiday Dance Along show with something for everyone, including a visit from Santa on Friday, December 5th for the District A, Kennedy Heights and Pleasant Ridge Winterfest Celebration. The show included dancers from Pre-School Movement Discovery, Youth and Adult Ballet, Adult Tap Classes, btc Krucial Hip Hop Crew and Company dancers. Audience members were very positive: “It was a very nice mix of dance styles”, “Great show!”, “I enjoyed it very much!” ballet tech cincinnati will perform “Dance of the Toys” at the Aronoff Center for a holiday student show on December 15th.

ballet tech cincinnati just won a $50,000 City of Cincinnati Capital Grant to continue renovations on its World Headquarters Facility. With the $200,000 State Grant awarded earlier this year, we have $250,000 pledged by the government to help complete planned renovations for the facility to become a state-of the-art dance studio, community theater and private event venue. Now, we need your help to generate the required matching funds for the government grants to be disbursed so that construction can begin. ballet tech cincinnati, WEB DuBois Academy and Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses announced a new collaboration to introduce arts access to the West End. Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses will host dance classes and visual art exhibits in its Findlay Street facility. WEB DuBois Academy students will participate in dance classes during and after their school day, and other community participants will have access to the Arts Access Initiative as well. The initiative will kick off in January, 2009 with dance classes presented by ballet tech cincinnati Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons featuring Ballet, Hip Hop and African Dance Classes for students at WEB DuBois Academy and other community members in the Seven Hills Neighborhood Houses Findlay Street Gymnasium. Tuition for community participants will be very affordable and subsidized by scholarships for those who qualify. >Learn more about the West End Arts Collaborative>

ballet tech cincinnati will host its first Improv Workshops targeted at executives, managers and other business people and people with some experience in Comedy Improvisation at its Kennedy Heights World Headquarters on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 9AM-12 noon for the Improv for Business Workshop and 1:00-3:30 PM for the Advanced Improv Workshop.
